The review discusses the pathogenetic mechanisms of development respiratory infection COVID-19 and clinical use cell technologies based on mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). Due to global pandemic COVID-19/SARS-CoV-2 associated with spread SARS-CoV-2 virus, difficulty in treating severe cases infection, immunomodulatory activity MSCs due inflammatory microenvironment factors can be used complex treatment pneumonia, including cancer patients.
